Apprentice Engineering Operative
Daily duties include:
You will experience a variety of things to do from using metal cutting and shaping machinery in our workshop to assembling steel work in the picturesque Somerset countryside. You will learn to understanding drawings and specifications to determine the required materials and equipment for the job. We are looking for someone who likes to learn new things as there are lots of opportunities for progression. This is a manual role, you will get plenty of exercise so you don’t need to pay out on a gym membership!Training:
You will be pursuing a Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard as an Engineering Operative, through Weston College. As part of this program, you will attend Weston College as instructed by the college. An assessor will conduct on-site observations to evaluate your progress, as well as supporting you in college throughout your apprenticeship. At the conclusion of your program, your qualification will be assessed through an End Point Assessment.
Training Outcome:
Possible employment after the completion of apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 4.00pm. Time and a half occasionally available on Saturdays.
