Childcare Apprenticeship - Sunshine Pre-School

Day-Day Responsibilities:

To assist team members in providing the highest standard of care and education for the children in daily operation of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents To liaise with nursery staff regarding children’s specific needs and requirements To maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment To adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures To contribute ideas to planning ensuring children receive high quality of learning and development               To always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements Looking after children's day to day physical needs, such as feeding, nappy changing, toilet training and providing a range of fun and stimulating activities from reading stories to messy play

Training:

Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Qualification

Training Outcome:
Possibility of a full time role after the completion of the apprenticeship

Employer Description:
Sunshine pre school is open all year round and fully inclusive taking children from the age of 3 months.   We offer places for children in receipt of 15 hours funding aswell as 30 hours for working parents (funding is now available from 9 months old).   We also offer wrap around care for children attending our setting and also Woodthorpe Community Primary School, aswell as holiday clubs to all.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday (Shifts Between 08:30 - 17:00)
