EARLY YEARS EDUCATOR LEVELS 2 & 3 APPRENTICESHIP

An opportunity has arisen for Apprentices to join our motivated and enthusiastic team at Millwood House.

We are a small private nursery with a home-from-home ambience where babies to 5 year old children have fun learning through play. Millwood House follows the EYFS 7 areas of learning and is OFSTED rated GOOD.

Our Management Team and Nursery Practitioners look forward to welcoming you into our Millwood House Team wherein most of our staff have many years service.

The successful candidates will be working as part of our team to deliver outstanding care whilst providing a safe, fun and progressive learning environment for the children. We are looking for someone who is committed, motivated, passionate, who wants to make a difference in children's lives and who has ambition to help us maintain our long standing, well reputed practice.

Early Years Educator Levels 2 and 3 Apprenticeship will involve the following:

Duties include:

Work (under supervision) with children within Millwood House Nursery, to provide all aspects of care and supporting learning opportunities, which may include washing, changing and feeding Undertake training to obtain recognised qualification, including completing assignments on time, and attending all sessions/tutorials (if applicable) Uphold standards within Millwood House Nursery by adhering to all policies and procedures Strive to safeguard children by working to Millwood House Nursery’s Safeguarding Code of Conduct Assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children Provide adult interaction with children in Millwood House Nursery Know and implement Millwood House Nursery’s Confidentiality Policy Contribute towards an effective and supportive team environment Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure that the highest standards of care are provided Attend team meetings and contribute relevant ideas Contribute to high standard of hygiene and cleanliness at Millwood House Nursery To respect the confidentiality of information received To be aware of all emergency and fire evacuation procedures

Training:
Early Years Educator 3 Apprenticeship Training will include paediatric first aid qualification

Training Outcome:

Option to apply for a permanent position within the nursery, if this opportunity is available.

Employer Description:
Millwood House is an independent nursery that has been serving the local community for 30 years. We pride ourselves on our low staff turnover and the Family ambiance that this creates for our children.

Working Hours :
Nursery hours are between 8.00am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 51 weeks/year. Staff take 1-hour for lunch. Apprentices will work 32-hours per week on a varying shift pattern. Exact days and shifts to be confirmed.
