Supply Chain Apprentice
You will learn and develop an understanding of key departments within Siemens Healthineers, and develop a broad range of essential skills and knowledge
You will learn to execute buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials for domestic and international purchases
You will support the planning department by taking ownership of various reports and metrics to ensure optimized inventory and service levels are met
You will manage the supply of materials required to manufacture instruments, reagents and spares ensuring maximum customer service whilst minimizing inventory and physical space utilization
You will ensure accuracy and maintain all relevant material master data within the SAP system
You will communicate proactively with stakeholders on significant changes in supply, ensuring actions are taken to minimize the operational impact
You will spend 20% of your time completing Off-The-Job training, including independent study and internal training
During this 18-month apprenticeship you will complete learning modules and projects, and work towards achieving a Supply Chain Level 3 qualification, building a portfolio of work to support your end point assessment whilst guided by your line manager and our apprenticeship manager
Training:
The training will be a combination of college and on-site on-the-job learning
Training Outcome:
Depending on business requirements and the performance of the individual, there may be opportunities to progress further qualifications and beyond, including Higher Education
