Car Build Apprentice

Learn and become proficient in all types of assembly techniques aiding the build of Uprights & Carbon Suspension, Driver controls, Hydraulic Ride Systems, Cooling Systems, Hydraulic & Fuel manifolds, Steering, Gearbox Sub-Assemblies. Proficient use of all tooling and test equipment within the department. Ability to read technical drawings, follow assembly process and procedure. Be able to communicate with others regarding technical issues both verbally and by email. Safe working within general Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines with specific attention and working to Departmental Risk Assessments and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health).

Training:

Reporting to a senior member of our build team, your apprenticeship will provide periods of integration across the different areas of our car build team, and you will be mentored by the subject matter expert for each of these. You will learn the theory and practical skills to support the existing Technicians in their day-to-day commitments and become an important and effective part of the team. 

This role should not be seen as a conventional job, the expectation on you is to make yourself a valuable part of our team, someone with the drive to develop themselves and win at the highest level of motorsport.   
This Apprenticeship will take part at our Campus in Brackley, alongside additional learning at a Technical College. Typically, this would be four days per week in the workplace with one day per week in the classroom setting.

To continue to grow and develop as part of the team.

Monday to Friday: 08:30am - 17:30pm.
