Training:
Initial off the job practical training
Level 3 Diploma Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Technical Knowledge). Day release at college for two academic years
In house training within the employer, learning relevant skills to become an engineering fitter
Certificate of Apprenticeship from the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IfATE)
Training Outcome:
Once the apprentices have completed the 42 months training and successfully passed the End Point Assessment of the apprenticeship, they will be able to maintain/repair/install to a high level, complex equipment/installations.

We provide apprenticeships in the Engineering and Business Administration across various sectors in different employers based in the north east of England, including Newcastle Upon Tyne. We work alongside leading manufacturing and engineering employers throughout the local area across Northumberland and Tyne and Wear who are looking for aspiring Engineering apprentices to join them in September 2025.
