V05083 - Degree Apprentice Test & Commissioning Engineering

You will work as part of a committed team to meet departmental goals whilst developing your technical skills & understanding of your allocated Test Section You will gain experience working towards key events of the boat build and will develop your skills and knowledge though studies and practical learning on site Working on the submarines alongside Test Engineers, helping with setting up and testing systems while learning the commissioning process, the software involved and safe working practices You will learn system layouts and their operation in all sections of the submarine and begin to understand the complexity and diversity of the commissioning process

Training:
Nuclear scientist and nuclear engineer (integrated degree)
Level 6 (Degree with honours) An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying

Training Outcome:
