Level 2 Horticulture & Landscape Operative Apprenticeship

Duties and tasks include but are not limited to:

Grounds maintenance: mowing, strimming, hedge trimming, weeding, planting, and borders. Vineyard work: pruning, tying down, tucking in, canopy care, mowing between rows, and harvest support. Market garden tasks: sowing, planting, harvesting, irrigation, and composting. Wedding support: setting up outdoor ceremonies, tidying guest areas, and helping ensure the site looks its best.

Training:
You will be working towards a Level 2 Horticulture & Landscape Operative Apprenticeship Standard. You will receive on and off-the-job training and support from an assessor and an apprenticeship advisor. You will be required to attend Bicton College on a block release basis as part of the Apprenticeship training.

Training Outcome:
It would be the plan to train and keep the right person in the role. Upon completion of this Level 2 Apprenticeship, the Apprentice may want to progress and do the Level 3 Horticulture & Landscape Supervisor Apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday : 9am - 3:30pm including a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
