Supply Chain Manager
Indigo Search have been engaged by a fast-paced & growing business to recruit for a Supply Chain Manager based in the Ashby-De-La-Zouch area.
Reporting into Director, this role would suit a Supply Chain Manager, Head of Supply Chain or Senior Supply Chain professional looking for their next opportunity within a business that is gearing up for significant growth.
THE ROLE:
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the management of a small team of people within the Supply Chain division. Responsibility for the Supply Chain and Stock Control functions of the business. Strong People Manager with demonstrable experience of engaging teams. Relationship Management and SLA reviews with suppliers - including Factories and Logistics partners. ERP system use, maintenance and modification (where appropriate). Budget & KPI Management control. Own and drive CI initiatives across the operation. Operational Projects. Adopt and foster a 'Change Mentality' and inspire other people to take the same approach.THE PERSON:
Exposure as a Supply Chain Manager, Supply Chain Controller or Head of Supply Chain. CIPS qualification. Experience of negotiating, implementing and monitoring SLA's with Suppliers both in the UK & abroad. Demonstrable experience of managing people within a Supply Chain or Procurement setting. Stock control - to maximise availability and stock turnover. 'Can-Do' mentality - this business prides itself on people who take a 'front-foot' mentality to problems & challenges. Able to involve yourself in other areas of the business where appropriate. Lean/CI experience is highly desirable. Management of budgets circa £2 million upwards. Able to grasp the wide breadth of the business and get involved with whatever areas need improving. Clear and effective communicator. Able to think beyond the obvious. Open to new ideas and with a viewpoint that "anything is possible".ABOUT US:
