Shift Electrician

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established manufacturer of concrete building products in their search for a Shift Electrician to work in Widnes

Job Role: Working as a Shift Electrician, you will be responding to breakdowns within the plant, fault finding, problem solving and repairing heavy production equipment. You will follow a planned preventative maintenance program on electrical plant equipment and components, while also carrying out facilities maintenance checks such as lighting and appliances. You will also be responsible for maintaining the electrical spares storage area.

Pay: £45,000 per annumHours of Work: Monday to Friday, 6-2 / 2-10 rotatingDuration: PermanentOvertime Rules: X1.5Benefits: 22 days holiday plus bank holidays

Essential Skills & Experience:

Experience of working in a manufacturing / production environmentAbility to read and interpret electrical schematic drawingsFault finding on PLCs and automated electrical systemsExperience working with 3 phase motors, inverter drives and control systems

Desired Skills & Experience:

Siemens PLC controls experienceExperience of working at height

Essential Qualifications:

Electrical qualifications City & Guilds L3 and above or equivalent qualification
