Falconer / Bird Control Technician Apprentice

Learn about weight management. Feed and handle Birds of Prey. Main cleanliness i.e. bird housing etc.

Training:

Training will be delivered by Myerscough College where you will work towards the Level 2 Animal Care & Welfare Assistant Apprenticeship qualification.

Delivery is work-based using blended learning technologies on the employer’s premises. There is an expectation that 20% of the working week will be off the job training, which is a legal requirement.

Training Outcome:
Qualified technician on a higher salary.

Employer Description:
We are a family run company who provide bird control for both commercial and domestic clients across the North West, using birds of prey alongside other tools.

Working Hours :
Flexible Hours. Monday - Friday, the occasional Saturday. 30-minute Unpaid Lunch.
