Childcare Apprenticeship - Alne
We are looking for a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Level 2 Childcare Apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a childcare setting while working towards a Level 3 qualification. You will support the day-to-day care of children aged 2 - 4 and within afterschool 4 - 11, ensuring a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, and develop.
Your role will include:
To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times To help deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress To help ensure the preschool nursery meets Ofsted requirements at all timesTo understand and work to preschool nursery policies and procedures, including how:
To deal with child protection issues appropriately and how to respond to incidents, accidents, complaints and emergencies To plan activities which ensure each child is making good progress To be a key person, monitoring and updating children’s progress by way of an app To ensure records are properly maintained, e.g. accident and incident book, risk assessments To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the preschool aims and objectivesBenefits Include:

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.
This involves regular catchups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.
This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 18-month apprenticeship you will have gained; Early Years Educator Level 3.
Training will include paediatric first aid qualification.
Training Outcome:
Possibility of a full-time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.

Alne Pre-school Playgroup consists of a group of children aged from 2 years to five years. Our aim is to encourage the development and education of these children through play in a safe, controlled environment.
Working Hours :
Monday - Friday (shifts between 08:00 - 18:00)
