Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship at Grove House Surgery, Shepton Mallet

Working with the Patient Services Team answering the telephone, liaising with staff and patients and accessing patient medical records Using EMIS our clinical IT software for patient management General admin tasks such as photocopying, emails, post, filing Writing correspondence to support doctors and other medical staff General administrative support throughout the practice Operating office equipment Making and receiving telephone calls- both external and internal Working effectively with others Producing a variety of documents Working within a strict code of confidentiality Having a thorough knowledge of practice policies and procedures and work within them Participating in an annual individual performance review Undertaking training as required for the better performance of the job and maintaining a record of personal and professional development Working well within a team, communicating and sharing Able to be flexible to meet the needs of the surgery Learn skills in the role of team management, including staff rota, monitoring of workload, one to ones and appraisals

Training Outcome:
We have a high number of staff that have remained at the surgery after completing their apprenticeship so the offer of a permanent role is a high possibility

Monday - Friday, between 8.00am and 6.30pm
