APPRENTICESHIP TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 3

Under the guidance of teachers and support staff the apprentice will be involved in working with children to support the education, personal, social and emotional development of pupils. Establish positive relationships to assist in structured learning activities and free play. Duties may include, supporting learning activities, assisting in the development of skills that support pupils' learning and supporting children with additional needs. The apprentice will assist in pupil supervision and pupil progress and development. This inlcudes supervision at the breakfast club, play times and lunch duties.

Training:

You will join highly effective priamry school where training and professional development is highly valued. Staff wellbeing is a priority and we have a team of mental health first aiders. You will be supported to gain your Teaching Assistant  Level 3 qualification which is the stepping stone for a future career. You will learn above and beyond in our nurturing, forward thinking primary school. This experience will make you stand out from the rest.

Training Outcome:

There is no guarantee of a role at the end of this apprenticeship, but support will be given.

Employer Description:
We believe that good behaviour is crucial to maintain the positive and caring ethos of the school, and our priority is to engage children in their learning, whilst helping them develop a positive attitude towards one another and the school. Our school caters for around 210 children split into seven classes. We have fantastic facilities both internally and externally and have excellent links with our parish church.

Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, shifts to be confirmed.
