Electrical Shift Engineer (Night bias) – Continental Shift – Commercial Building – Liverpool Street, London –  £50,000 Per annum 

My client is seeking an Electrical Shift Engineer to be based across 4 buildings situated next to each other in Liverpool Street, London. A successful candidate will be electrically biased (C&G / NVQ).  He or she will be required to carry out electrical maintenance across these four buildings. This role works a continental pattern with a focus on nights. In return, the company offers a competitive salary of £50,000, further training and career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)Emergency lightingAir Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)Chillers - Re-setWater Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)Monitor mechanical plantPlumbing - Unblocking toiletsPumps, motorsWater TreatmentBMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as requiredMaintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.Escort specialist subcontractorsRequirements
