Health and Social Care Apprenticeship - Burnley

As an Apprentice Adult Care Worker, you’ll work closely with our dedicated team at Charter House Resource Centre to support adults with physical and learning disabilities, elderly individuals, and those with dementia. This role is designed to build your experience and skills in a person-centered care setting, with daily responsibilities that promote social inclusion and lifelong learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist service users in a range of activities designed to support lifelong learning in a respectful, person-centered manner. Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for all. Prepare the centre for daily activities, including meeting and greeting service users on arrival. Prepare and serve meals and snacks, ensuring nutritional and dietary needs are met. Perform additional tasks as needed to support the centre and community-based activities.

This role provides fully supervised care experience and opens doors to skill-building for independent work in the future. As you develop a deeper understanding of adult care, you’ll gain the qualifications and experience to support you in potential roles within our organisation and beyond.

Training:

Paragon Skills is a leading national Apprenticeship training provider, supporting over 4,000 learners and 1,500 organisations. Paragon Skills has some of the highest success and achievement rates in the industry.

It has an Ofsted Grade 2 Good rating and an overall achievement rate of 71.4%, exceeding the national average of 65.6%. Using a blended approach, learners are always at the forefront of our priorities. All learners are assigned a Personal Tutor who will be their main point of contact.

This involves regular catch-ups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.

This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12 month apprenticeship you will have gained; Adult Care Worker - Level 2 Apprenticeship. 

Training Outcome:

Possibility of a full-time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
