Dispensing of medication to patients Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data Entry relating to medication Labelling and Dispensing Accuracy and Attention to detail Numerate Order and receive stock  Working within a team environment Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals

Training:

Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

Level 2 Functional Skills in maths and English (if required) Own in-house training GPHC approved qualification

Training schedule has yet to be agreed upon, further details will be made available at a later date.



Training Outcome:
Full-time permanent role for the right person Further potential for other training such as Level 3 Pharmacy Assistant
