Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprentice

Daily duties may include but are not limited to:

Learning the fundamentals of HV technologies - HV chassis, engine, fuels, transmissions, hydraulic & air braking, electrical systems, and testing Learning how to service, maintain and repair a range of different heavy commercial vehicles An interest in mechanical issues Ability to use hand tools * Ability to learn how to work on a computer to diagnose faults Willingness' to understand customers' needs Ability to work in a team

Training:

* Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 * Functional Skills in English and maths (if not already achieved) * Preparation and support to sit End Point Assessment Block release training at our Wythenshawe Campus - M22 9UH

Training Outcome:

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there will be the opportunity to secure permanent employment.

PSS Workshops Ltd. based in Ellesmere Port are looking to recruit a Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Apprentice to compliment their experienced team, providing help with day-to-day workshop activity / tasks, supporting a busy team and developing your knowledge and skills in the sector.

Working Hours :
Monday-Friday 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm alternate weeks.
