Apprentice PCV Technician
Typical day as an apprentice:
To undertake hands on training within the Engineering Department by working with experienced qualified existing members of staff To observe and learn how to be able to diagnose faults and carry out repairs on PCV Vehicles To assist members of the engineering team Learn how to repair basic faults through to more complicated repairs as your knowledge grows To embrace all opportunities of learning and developing To attend courses and further training To take control of the general housekeeping within the garage to ensure high levels of health and safetyTraining:
To attend Total People at The Manchester College as part of your apprenticeship when required - block release. Complete required coursework and have a dedicated tutor. Level 3 Bus and Coach Engineering Technician English and maths Level 2 (if the learner does not already hold these)
Training Outcome:
Permanent role and progression within the business for the successful candidate on completion of the qualification. The ability to further progress your career and experience.
