Dental Nurse Apprentice

Dental Nurse role consists of:

Assisting dentists Decontaminating instruments Updating patient records as instructed by the dentist Supporting the wider team Have the ability to use your own initiative Set up and prepare the surgery High standards of cleanliness and infection control Keeping patient information confidential Reassuring patients Confidentiality Reception duties Stock control
Follow all workplace policies and procedures Safeguarding Assist with X-rays

Training:
Dental Nurse (integrated) Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Training will take place at our brand new Academy in Preston. It will consist of 4 days of 'One the Job' training in practice and one day per week doing theoretical training at the academy

Training Outcome:
After qualification, the apprentice could progress to being a Hygeinist, Therapist, Practice Manager or alternatively attend university to study to become a Dentist

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm including college day. There may be a possibility of working evenings and some weekends.
