Apprentice Finance Assistant
To undertake a Level 2 Finance qualification as part of the apprenticeship training programme
To work flexibly in line with the finance team’s responsibilities.
To ensure an understanding and compliance with Health and Safety and risk regulations within the team.
To support the Finance & Payroll Officer in processing expense claims
Correctly coding supplier invoices to departments and nominal codes
To support with the Mileage tracker making sure this is kept up to date
To learn the process of raising ad hoc and quarterly spot purchase invoices
Dealing with any queries relating to spot purchases, running and re-sending reports
To contribute to the development of good team working and undertake other appropriate duties as may be necessary.
To participate in training, supervision and team meetings and undertake appropriate learning opportunities.
Supporting the Finance & Payroll Officer in other duties as required
