Delivery of customer service Dispensing of medication to patients Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety responsibility Observing COVID restrictions and guidelines Use of patient record systems and use of smart card Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Numerate Working within a team environment Liaison with doctors' surgery and health professionals

Training:
Pharmacy Services Assistant Level 2 qualification Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] Dispensing Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date

Training Outcome:
A permanent position within the organisation Pharmacy Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship

Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 6.00pm. Saturday and Sunday - Closed Shifts and rota TBC
