Procurement Apprentice
To answer the telephone and deal with queries/requests and take any detailed messages for the team.
Deal with queries in a professional and efficient manner.
To administer shared inboxes and ensure that queries are resolved or forwarded to the relevant team member in a timely way.
Undertake any other tasks as allocated by the Head of Procurement.
Provide verbal guidance to requisitioners and inform them of the existing procedures/guidance available to help them remain compliant with Financial Regulations and legislation.
Prioritise and organise own workload.
To assist with new supplier set ups
Be aware of and adhere to, the correct ethics in transacting in public business. To display a high standard of conduct and a professional approach when in contact with internal and external customers
To participate in training sessions to assist in personal and departmental development
To organise and prioritise workloads which have competing deadlines, whilst managing these conflicting demands efficiently.
To provide the level of service and performance to meet the departmental objectives as defined by The Head of Procurement

Level 3 Business Administrator apprenticeship qualification-
Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours Day release to attend college at Havering (RM11 2LL) or Hackney (N1 5HQ)Training Outcome:
Possibilty of permanent position upon completion of apprenticeship

Working Hours :
Normal working hours of 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. With one hour for lunch.
