General admin tasks to assist the Marketing & Publicity team Sending review copies to journalists/influencers/third parties Creating press releases Creating and coordinating engaging social media posts across various subject-driven accounts and platforms Research tasks including press and social media contacts lists Design flyers and assets for marketing campaigns Attending weekly meetings Collating and circulating press coverage Organising and distributing images from illustrated titles for press and marketing use Pitching for press coverage

Training:

To meet the requirements of the Level 4 Publishing Professional apprenticeship programme you will need to spend 6 hours a week of your time undertaking off-the-job learning, which will include:

Formal training, including online learning and internal learning events 1-2-1s with your coach and line manager Observing and shadowing colleagues Writing up learning reflections for your portfolio
