As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate support to older individuals, helping them with daily tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility assistance. What are the Apprentice's responsibilities?
Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support with meal preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met Help with mobility and physical assistance, including transfers and moving safely Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities Monitor and report changes in health, behaviour, or needs to the appropriate staff Encourage independence by supporting daily routines and promoting self-care where possible Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and comfortable environment Accompany clients to appointments, outings, or social events as needed Foster a positive and caring atmosphere, creating opportunities for joy and social engagementTraining:

This involves regular catchups, check-in emails and calls. Your employer will agree to give you 20% of your working hours solely towards your study.
This will give you every chance to achieve the highest grade possible! On completion of this 12-month apprenticeship you will have gained; Adult Care Worker - Level 2 Apprenticeship.
Training Outcome:
Possibility of a full-time role after the completion of the apprenticeship.
