Apprentice Housekeeper
The role of Housekeeper is vital for the smooth running of the department, and you will be responsible for supporting the nursing team with non-clinical tasks:-
ordering patient's food
help maintain a safe, clean, comfortable environment for patients and staff.
Be part of a team for monitoring, ordering, and managing the storeroom supplies to ensure that the department is kept well stocked.
Be responsible for escalating appropriate environmental and equipment issues to the relevant departments.
Training:
Customer Service Practitioner level 2 qualification
Maths & English Functional Skills level 1 if required (and work towards level 2)
Statutory and manadatory training: i.e. Health & Safety, Fire, Moving & Handling, Food Hygiene
Training Outcome:
On successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, this role will become a full-time permanent position, continuing on NHS agenda for change Band 2

Monday to Friday (37.5 hours). Shifts to be confirmed.
