Customer Service Level 2 Apprenticeship
To have a thorough knowledge of all practice procedures.
To work in accordance of written protocols
Receiving patients consulting with members of practice team
Handing completed repeat prescriptions to patient and checking names and address
Dealing with patient queries
Be able to cover all reception positions as necessary
process appointment requests for today and future appointments from patients by telephone and in person
Cancelling appointments when necessary
Deal with home visit requests
Organise E-referral appointments (hospital referrals)
Computer
Registrations of new patients – computer data entry and medical records.
Process patients change of address – computer data and medical records (have knowledge of practice area.
Process repeat prescription request in accordance with practice guidelines.
Keep up to date accurate records
Answer and process incoming telephone calls

Employer Description:
This is a GP Practice that has been established for many years. We have a practice population of 9000 patients so the demand is very high and the day to day running is very busy. We would like to develop our teams and create job roles within our practice by training apprentices up who are pro-active, interested and an asset to the practice.
Working Hours :
(Monday to Friday 8:30 - 6pm with one half day a week – TBC whether this is AM or PM half day)
