Apprentice Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Daily/Weekly Tasks
Fault finding and diagnosing issues with manufacturing machinery Carrying out repairs to restore production lines Electrical fault finding, repairs, and modifications Hydraulics and pneumatics fault finding, servicing, and repairs Following scheduled maintenance plans Lubrication of machinery and equipment Inspecting and testing equipment for anomalies Replacing worn parts, filters, and carrying out oil changes Organizing materials, tools, and spare parts for jobs Carrying out small installation work as required Collaborating with the engineering team on larger projects Machinery installations, relocations, and commissioning Designing, manufacturing, and installing new parts Supporting continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades Planning and preparing upcoming jobs General Support & Teamwork Assisting with site repairs within the skillsetTraining:
This is a Level 3 Mechatronics apprenticeship, delivered over a 39 month period The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, 2 and a half days per week for the first 20 months
Training Outcome:
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be a full-time position available at the company

Monday to Thursday 8.00am- 4.30pm Friday 8.00am- 3.30pm
