RAC Service Maintenance & Repair Technician Apprentice (Eastbourne Area)

As an apprentice mobile mechanic, you will complete services, repairs, and diagnostics at customers' homes or workplaces, offering a diverse range of experiences Throughout your qualification, you'll have access to a fully equipped, state-of-the-art company vehicle and complete tool kit, which will ensure you have the tools needed to succeed and grow

Training:

During your apprenticeship programme you will complete a mix of both college learning and on the job training. This role will provide much more than just how to be a mechanic!

Successful candidates will by employed by the RAC and will attend college on a block basis in Enfield, working towards achieving their Level 2 Autocare Technician apprenticeship.

The programme combines college learning with hands-on training led by experienced apprentice team leaders.

You’ll enjoy variety- diagnostics, repairs, servicing, and checks and gain confidence in making decisions on the spot.
You’ll take pride in doing a quality job every time, delivering the complete peace of mind that comes from the RAC.

Training Outcome:

Following the successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be
offered the opportunity to apply for full-time employment as a Mobile
Mechanic.

Once qualified, you can enjoy a competitive salary starting
£38,625 upwards (OTE £53k plus).

Working Hours :
Your working week will involve working shifts to ensure we meet our customer’s needs. Contracted hours average at 40 hours per week.
