Apprentice CNC & Manufacturing Technician

Operate and maintain CNC milling, turning, and laser cutting machines to produce precision components according to project specifications Assist in custom prototyping and 3D printing processes, ensuring quality and accuracy across a variety of materials Support the hands-on training of apprentices by demonstrating modern engineering techniques and fostering skill development in a collaborative workshop environment

Training:
Machining Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Day release during term time Regular visits from your apprenticeship skills coach in the workplace

Training Outcome:

On successful completion of the apprenticeship, opportunities exist to move into specialist roles such as:

CNC machinist (milling/turning) Laser technician (cutting/marking) CAD/CAM programmer Product development & prototyping technician General workshop engineer
