Mechanical Engineer – FM Service Provider – London – Temporary – Immediate Start

CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to carry out maintenance in a commercial building located near Victoria. This is an ongoing temporary role with the potential to become temp to perm. The successful candidate must be mechanically qualified with a strong track record in commercial building maintenance.

Please note: This is a one-man site, so the successful engineer must be comfortable working independently and taking full responsibility for the building’s day-to-day maintenance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Experience working with hot water and heating systemsFire alarm and sprinkler testingAHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleaningPumps – PPMs and strip downs (e.g. replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)Motors – PPMs (e.g. re-winds, overhauls)Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testingWater pressurisation unitsCalorifiers – annual inspection, descalingCooling towersBoilers – resetsChillers – resets and first-line faultsBasic plumbing – e.g. unblocking toiletsHours of WorkMonday to Friday08:00 – 17:00Ongoing temporary contract (temp to perm)£24 per hourRequirements
