HR Assistant/Business Administrator Apprentice

Duties to include:

• Managing employee records and issuing documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
• Recruitment support, posting job adverts, managing a recruitment tracker and onboarding new hires.
• Training and Development. Supporting the development and implementation of employee training programs to promote professional growth and development.
• Business Administration Support and HR Support. Providing administrative support to the Administration Manager for business support, and to the Head of People and Culture by updating presentations and conducting research on best practices in HR.
What You Will Learn:
• HR Processes & Legislation: Acquire knowledge of HR processes, including an understanding of external factors such as employment laws and legislative changes that impact the workplace.
• Document Production & Sensitivity: Learn to produce high-quality HR documents and reports, handling sensitive information with care and professionalism, while adhering to internal procedures and data protection legislation.
• HR-Focused IT Skills: Gain proficiency in essential IT skills, including Microsoft Office, to efficiently manage HR documents and data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with organisational processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Gain hands-on experience liaising with various stakeholders, enhancing your communication and interpersonal skills.

 



Training:

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry specific competence. You will be
expected to work towards the Business Administrator apprenticeship standard, with support from the employer and the Chesterfield College Group.

As part of your apprenticeship, and dependent on your prior attainment, you may be required to complete maths and English
Functional Skills which is an integral part of your apprenticeship.

Upon successful completion you will be awarded additional
certificates of recognition for these qualifications.

Working Hours :
Monday - Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, with 1 hour for lunch
