Apprentice Pharmacy Technician

Duties to include:

Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety responsibility Observing COVID Restrictions and Guidelines Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Numerate Working within a team environment Liaison with doctors surgery and health professional

Training:

Level 3 Pharmacy Services Assistant apprenticeship standard, which includes:

Pharmacy Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training

Training Outcome:
Full-time permanent role for the right person or further potential for other training such as a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship
