Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship

Prepare, cook and serve any food delegated as your responsibility ensuring that the highest possible quality is maintained; Support all aspects of production and presentation of service, having regard for delivering high standards of health and safety, hygiene, nutritional value and allergen control and ensure non-compliance is reported in your kitchen; Adhere to company procedures in regards to temperature checks, food labelling and dating, cleaning schedules and hygiene regulations at all times and ensure that all records of such are kept; Ensure stock is controlled and rotated; To maintain your work area to ensure it is clean, hygienic and tidy at all times;
To identify any hazards and make safe any defects in the kitchen or equipment, reporting any problems to the senior chef on duty; Adhere to all parts of Eton College Food Hygiene Policy and Food Safety Management System; Ensure that food allergen procedures and processes are followed when on shift; Attend all annual training as requested and required by law and The College; Undertake any reasonable request from the Head or Exec Chef, member of the management team or Catering Director.

Training Outcome:

Once you have completed this Apprenticeship, there may be a full-time position available, provided your performance is satisfactory.
