Apprentice Childminder
To help plan, provide and take part in play based activities that stimulate and support children’s learning and development
To assist and support children with personal care requirements, This may include changing nappies, assisting with toileting needs, changing clothes and shoes and helping children at meal times
To help ensure setting is safe environment by following health and safety procedures
To abide by all policies and procedures in place with in the setting at all times and be aware of Ofsted Requirements
To be aware of emergency procedures in the event of accident and incident
To build and maintain positive relationships with the children’s families
Training:
You will work towards your Early Years practitioner qualification which will require you to attend college lessons one day a month. All other learning will take place in the workplace.
Training Outcome:
Bolton College will support you in sourcing an employer if you wish to progress onto your level 3
Employer Description:
OFSTED registered Childminder with an up to date setting following all current and new rules and regulations
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm.
