Apprentice Dental Nurse Level 3

Apprentice Dental Nurse to work in a modern family friendly NHS dental practice. As a dental nurse your duties will include:

Assisting the dentist in performing dental procedures Supporting and reassuring patients In addition to providing chairside assistance to the dentist, all nurses spend time assisting at the reception desk General administration work, including filing and maintaining patient records

Training:
Dental Nurse Apprenticeship Standard Level 3 Functional Skills in English and Maths (Level 2) if required Practical training in surgery Infection control, Health and Safety, Medical Emergencies, dental materials and anatomy training

Training Outcome:

The right candidate could move into a variety of careers following successful completion of the apprenticeship, including:

Dental therapist or dental hygienist Practice Manager

Working Hours :
Mondays and Thursdays 10.30am - 7.30pm. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 9.00am - 6.00pm.
