Apprentice CNC Machining Technician

Your main duties in this wide-ranging apprenticeship will be:

Setting CNC Machining centres to achieve first off approval Operation of CNC Machining centres Deburring of components using conventional machinery Metrology - component inspection Updating Planning sheets, job packs and tooling location Carry out production in accordance with all quality procedures and customers’ requirements Housekeeping of workstations areas Compliance with Metaltech health and safety procedures

Training:

On completion of the apprenticeship, you will have achieved the following qualifications:

EAL L3 Extended diploma in Machining (Development Knowledge) Level: 3  Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering NVQ (Level 3 Diploma)    

The final apprenticeship completion certificate will be issued on achievement of the above qualification and successful completion of endpoint assessment.

Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date.

Training Outcome:

To become a fully trained and qualified Machining Technician with Unibloc.

Working Hours :
Core hours: Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm (40 hours). If under 18 years of age: 8.00am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am - 1.30pm (38 hours).
