Dispensing of medication to patients Over-counter sales of non-prescription medication Check and monitor prescription slips Health & safety responsibility Use of pharmacy software Data entry relating to medication Labelling and dispensing Accuracy and attention to detail Working within a team environment Any other duties required by the manager

Training:

Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:

Pharmacy Assistant Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification Medicine Counter Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] Dispensing Assistant Course accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council [GPhc] End-Point Assessment (EPA) In-house training

Training Outcome:
Full-time permanent role for the right person Further potential for other training such as Level 3 Pharmacy Assistant

Exel Pharmacy is located in Liverpool L36 8BJ and offers NHS service/treatments to the local community

Working Hours :
Monday- Friday between hours of 9.00am- 5.30pm Saturdays will be worked on rota between 9.00am- 12.00pm
