Hospitality Apprentice

Able to work in all areas of food and beverage including Bar, restaurant, events & weddings and spa Welcome guests in a polite and friendly manner Take and deliver customer orders, consistently demonstrating high levels of customer service Prepare set ups for tables Follow cash handling procedures Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner Up-sell with latest departmental incentives Ensure compliance of brand standards Strive to achieve departmental targets Ensure cleanliness of work areas Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation Comply with local licensing laws Be environmentally aware Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

Training:

You will study the Hospitality Team Member level 2 apprenticeship whilst being fully supported and mentored by the head chef and catering team.  

You will attend college on a weekly basis, spending time at the Buxton Campus receiving training from industry-qualified and very experienced staff (college transport is available).

If you require maths & English qualifications there may be an opportunity to study Functional Skills as part fo your apprenticeship depending on your personal circumstances.  



Training Outcome:

There is potential for permanent employment on the successful completion of your apprenticeship.

Working Hours :
Minimum of 30 hours per week as per rota that includes college attendance. A breakfast shift would start at 7am or if on a function your shift could end at 1am.
