With mentoring support, to deliver a variety of luxury beauty treatments (body treatments, massages, facials, waxing and manicure/pedicure) in a safe and comfortable manner. Carrying Level 2 Beauty treatments to a high standard aimed at paying clientele. Using electrical beauty treatment services/ products Acknowledging and responding to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products Maintain client’s files whilst maintaining client confidentiality Suggest and promote retail products or additional services Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations in accordance with the salon procedures Apply best beauty treatment practices and be up to date with market trends Attend in-house training and be committed to the Level 3 Apprenticeship programme.

Training:
Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Beauty Therapy Beauty Therapist Standard - Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours. Functional Skills Level 2 Maths and English (Exemptions apply)

Day release at Cambridge campus and working alongside a team of highly qualified, friendly and professional beauty therapists at Sanctum Beauty and Wellness Salon.

The apprentice would be assigned an assessor through the college, who would typically come out to visit in the workplace to assess workplace competence. The knowledge side would be provided via day release attendance at Cambridge Campus, assignments, evidence of workplace competence. Portfolio would be checked via an online Smart Assessor.

Training Outcome:

There will be opportunities to progress within the beauty salon business for the right candidate.

Set in the beautiful countryside near Royston, the Sanctum Beauty & Wellness offers a range of relaxing luxury treatments including massages, facials, pamper packages and holistic treatments.

Working Hours :
Hours of work working the day release for training in-college, for example, Monday day release/ off. Tuesday 12-6pm, Wed 11am-8am, Thurs 10am-4.30pm, Fri 11am-8.30pm, Sat 9am-5pm alternating in/day off, Sunday – closed.
