Support the work of school staff to deliver high-quality PE and school sports
To support and deliver extracurricular activities to include after-school clubs
Support the development of PE and school sports
Set up, take down and store activity equipment
Promote health, safety, and welfare in PE and school sports.
Support Equality and Diversity in PE and school sport
Provide high-quality sports coaching during and after school to help develop positive lifelong habits which promote a healthy lifestyle
Improve links with local schools to help with competitive sport and physical activity provision
Increase the physical activity levels within the school
Assist with improvement of staff development within the area of Physical Education and School Sports
Contribute to keeping pupils safe by following the school’s safeguarding policy and procedures
To assist the school in its day-to-day duties
To contribute to the overall ethos and aims of the school
Training Outcome:
Possible full-time progression after the apprenticeship for the right applicant.
