Apprentice Dental Laboratory Assistant (Level 3) - Bremadent Dental Laboratory, Walthamstow

Help design and adjust dental prosthetics using CAD/CAM technology. Assist skilled dental technicians in creating crowns, bridges, and various dental appliances. Learn and implement industry-standard techniques for digital impressions, milling, and finalizing prosthetic devices. Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Engage in continuous training and development to improve technical skills and expertise.

Training:

Over 21 months, you’ll devote a minimum of 6 hours of your working week on ‘off the job’ training. This can include theory training (for example, virtual lessons & online learning), alongside practical training (for example shadowing, mentoring, & time spent writing assignments. Together this will count towards a Level 3 Laboratory Technician apprenticeship. You’ll be trained by an expert tutor from Tiro as well as an experienced mentor at Bremadent who together, will make sure you develop the knowledge, skills, and work habits you’ll need to succeed in your career.

Being an apprentice is hands-on, so you’ll get the chance to learn things you might otherwise not have experienced in a university or college environment.

This apprenticeship program serves as a stepping-stone towards a rewarding career in science and dental technology, with the added opportunity for the apprentice to become a Registered Science Technician (RSci Tech).

You may choose to pursue higher-level qualifications through one of our Degree Apprenticeships such as a BSc in Applied Bioscience, or continue to grown in the Dental sector and become a fully qualified Dental Technician!

The 'Dental Laboratory' can assist Dentists with all aspects of digital dentistry, implants, CAD/CAM milling, crown & bridge, prosthetics, orthodontics & pressure formed dental appliances. All products are manufactured in-house within a quality-controlled environment, with investments in the latest digital modelling and advanced manufacturing techniques. We now have an exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join the Bremadent team as a Laboratory Assistant, with full training provided in partnership with Tiro!
