Support Worker Apprentice Level 3 Adult Care Worker

Assist clients with daily living activities (e.g., dressing, bathing).

Support meal preparation and feeding.

Medication administration.

Monitor and record health changes.

Support clients in social activities.

Accompany clients to health appointments.

Review Care Plans and Risk assessments.

 



Training:

Training will be at your place of work.



Training Outcome:

Care Manager / Deputy Manager
Progression: Manage an entire care setting or become a deputy manager, overseeing all aspects of care delivery, compliance, and staff management.
Qualification: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services.
4. Registered Manager
Progression: Become a Registered Manager, responsible for the overall management of a care home or service, including budget management, regulatory compliance, and leading large teams.
Qualification: Level 5 or higher qualifications in management, such as a Degree in Health and Social Care or related fields.
5. Specialist Roles
Progression: Move into specialised roles such as Dementia Care Specialist, Learning Disabilities Specialist, or End-of-Life Care Specialist.
Qualification: Additional training and certifications specific to the area of specialisation.
6. Trainer / Assessor
Progression: Transition into roles focused on training and developing future care workers, assessing their competence and providing mentorship.
Qualification: Qualifications in education and training, such as the Level 3 Award in Education and Training (AET).
7. Further Education and Degree Programs
Progression: Pursue further education, such as a Foundation Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Social Care, to open doors to even higher-level positions in healthcare management or policy.
