We are pleased to announce that we are currently recruiting for a Welding Supervisor for our successful client based in the Wallsend area on a potential long-term contract.With an immediate start and likely to continue long term, subject to the client's’continuing requirements.You would be working a Backshift 42-hour week - Monday to Thursday - 16:00 - 01:00hrs and Friday - 15:30 - 00:00hrs.For the first 38 hours worked and approved - £28.32 per hour.In excess of 38 hours worked and approved - £36.82 per hour.Saturday hours worked and approved - £42.48 per hour.Sunday & Bank Holiday hours worked and approved - £56.64 per hour.Duties and Responsibilities, but not limited to for the Welding Supervisor: -• To keep accurate records of personnel and work tasks of team of workers • Ensure all workers are trained, competent and permitted to carry out their respective tasks (or are supervised by a competent person).• Make full and effective use of Toolbox Talks to communicate with team and to provide details relating to the wor• Have an in depth knowledge of, and ensure their team are aware of and familiar with the requirements of the Company’s Compliance Policy, Safety Method Statements, Safe Systems of Work, Health and Safety Policies and Company Procedures and that these are applied to all operations carried out on site. • Ensure that the identified PPE is worn and used correctly at all times.• Carry out risk assessments (and COSHH Risk Assessments) as directed by the Company.
