This care home offers nursing care for people who have complex medical needs, and 24-hour nursing dementia care provided by specialist teams trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia, who may also have other long-term medical conditions
**To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**
As a Nurse your key duties include:
Leading a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care
Producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks
Maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology
Overseeing all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation
Responsible for making decisions in a timely manner
Utilising your clinical skills to provide guidance and support to all team members
Making decisions and taking action in a timely manner
Supporting, guiding, teaching and mentoring others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times

Ability to lead a team of care staff
Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families
A team player who engages well with others
Able to communicate effectively at all levels
Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards
Demonstrate an understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role
Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment

You will be learning:
Operation of machinery to produce all types of Gaskets and other products in a variety of materials. We have various CNC machinery including waterjets; knife machines; milling and routing machines and automatic presses.
Warehouse responsibilities including forklift operation (dependant on age of candidate) and material handling. Sorting, packing and despatching goods to customers’requirements, including all relevant paperwork.
Inspection of parts, making sure the parts are to the customers drawing and within tolerances.
Producing CAD drawings and nesting programmes for production.
Full training will be given in all areas of the business. Working with a small team of operatives with regular contact with company Managers & directors.

We operate out of a number of converted farm buildings and there will be times when the successful applicant will be outside. However, full uniform, including coat and safety shoes will be provided. It can be quite a physical role. We are in the middle of nowhere, so there are no shops or food outlets for about 3 miles, there is a local bus that runs hourly.Training:
The learner will be studying the Engineering Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.

Design Transfer Engineering: You will facilitate the transfer of new product designs from development to manufacturing, ensuring that all design specifications are met and that production processes are established.
Validation: You will participate in the validation of equipment, processes, and systems to ensure they meet regulatory and quality standards. This includes developing validation protocols, executing validation activities, and documenting results.
Automation & digitalization: You will utilize digital tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate (Power Platforms) and Simulation tools like Plant Simulation to analyze data, optimize processes, and support decision-making.
During this 5-6 Year apprenticeship you will also complete learning modules and projects, and work towards achieving a Level 6 Engineering qualification, building a portfolio of work to support your final end point assessment whilst guided by your line manager and our apprenticeship manager.
Training:
The training will be a combination of college and on site on-the-job learning.
Training Outcome:
Depending on business requirements and the performance of the individual, there may be opportunities to progress further qualifications and beyond, including Higher Education.
