We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / Vehicle Accident Damage Estimator to join an established Accident Repair Centre in the Motherwell area.
This is NOT a trainee role, to be considered for this role you must be currently working in an accident repair centre in an identical role or have done so in the last 3 years.
You must have working experience of Audatex (or similar estimating software) and ideally hold an ATA VDA.
Key role and responsibilities as an Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor:
- You will undertake the inspection of accident damaged vehicles, assessing the full extent of the damage, costs of repair and timeframes.
- You will ensure our work providers menu pricing schedules and repair methodologies and key information for each contract is being adhered too on each job.
- You will work within our guidelines to ensure that the workflow volume meets targets.
- Use computerised estimating systems.
- Liaise regularly with insurance and accident management companies with any updates or queries relating to relevant jobs.
- Contact customers to provide updates
Minimum requirements as an Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor:
- Must have experience using estimating software (ideally Audatex)
- ATA is essential
- Ensure customer expectations are met and demonstrate great service skills

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Integration Centre Technical Lead to join a leading engineering company. You will be responsible for supervising a small team of assembly technicians, ensuring the successful integration, power-up, and testing of hardware platforms for complex Process Control Systems. This role involves technical leadership, electrical inspection, and quality assurance, ensuring that all activities meet safety and quality standards.
You will play a key role in powering up hardware solutions, performing electrical testing (including Earth Bond and Flash Testing), and supporting FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) activities. The role requires technical problem-solving, knowledge sharing, and proactive recommendations for process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Supervision & Leadership
- Act as a technical supervisor to a team of 2-4 assembly technicians, ensuring daily tasks are executed according to requirements.
- Share technical knowledge and mentor team members to improve team competency.
- Report progress and technical issues to the Integration Centre Supervisor.Hardware Integration & Power-Up
- Power-up hardware platforms to ensure the system is ready for application software loading and testing.
- Complete electrical inspection and testing prior to power-up, including Earth Bond and Flash Testing.
- Maintain a register of legacy test equipment and test racks for safety systems to simulate customer plant operations.
Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Take ownership of the system log register for hardware defects and execute resolutions.
- Maintain test and calibration records for equipment required for I/O measurement and simulation.
- Ensure all procedural and documentation requirements for systems under test are accurately completed.
- Proactively recommend quality and efficiency improvements within the Integration Centre team.
Electrical Compliance & Safety
- Authorised Electrical Person responsible for issuing electrical connection notices (Lock out Tag Certs, etc.).
- Perform isolation, de-isolation, and electrical connection of equipment in compliance with BS 7671 wiring regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Corporate, Local, Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
FAT Support & Site Assignments
- Support engineering teams during FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) activities.
- Prepare hardware equipment for shipment after test activities.
- Available to work offshore if required (OPITO Approved Offshore BOSIET training preferred but not essential).
What Were Looking For:
Experience & Skills:
- Technical leadership experience in supervising assembly technicians in a hardware integration environment.
- Knowledge of current electrical standards and wiring regulations (BS 7671).
- Experience with Process Control Systems (e.g., Honeywell DCS and Safety Systems preferred).
- Proven experience in electrical inspection, Earth Bond, and Flash Testing.
- Competent in computer usage and Microsoft Office package.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Skills (Advantageous but not Essential):
- OPITO Approved Offshore BOSIET training for offshore assignments.
- Experience with Safety Systems and Test Racks for I/O measurement and simulation.
- International assignment experience or willingness to travel as required.

The Role
We are looking for Retail Merchandising Team Driver’s (driver with own vehicle) to add to our already successful merchandising team.
This role will require you to carry out the merchandising role as well as oversee the transportation of a small team of merchandisers to and from each shift.
A typical week consists of 4-5 shifts Sunday to Thursday
Shift lengths are generally 12 hours, days and nights (predominately nights). Access to available assignments will be on your smartphone via our Field Power platform where you can set your availability and accept shifts.
You will be required to clock in and out using your smart phone via our RAS Dashboard.
Work will be carried out on different retail customer sites / stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis.
Escalating any issues with the vehicle in a timely and efficient manner
You will work as part of a team led by a Team Manager or Store Management
You will be required to carry out the following:
Removing and replacing stock with the use of client plans and systems
Adjusting shelf heights
Moving stock from the warehouse onto the shop floor, with use of roll cages and pallet trucks.
Stock replenishment.
Key Skills/ Experience Required
This role will involve working unsociable hours including night shifts, this therefore means we are unable to hire anyone under the age of 21 years.
This role requires you to have a Full Driving License
You must have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work long shifts where required.
Previous experience in retail desirable, although training will be provided.
