To assist other Highway Operatives with the day to day effective management and control of individual projects.
Use of powered hand tools and work equipment.
Carry out basic trade instructions, read and interpret drawings.
To work effectively as part of a team and with other trades within Neighbourhoods and Climate Change.
To accurately complete prime documents for all work undertaken.
Undertake Health and Safety and other training as required.
Training:You will learn from skilled professionals whilst being supported to study towards a recognised qualification with a college/university/training provider.
Candidates will be attending college for Block Release. Training Outcome:Future career progression is available with the company for the right candidate following the successful completion of the apprenticeship. Employer Description:Highways are responsible for the maintenance of the Highway Infrastructure across County Durham, including approximately 3,800km of carriageway, 500 road bridges and 80,000 streetlights.
