Summary: The Fiber Technical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing, laboratory, and technical aspects of Fiber Reinforced Concrete products at Euclid Chemical. This office-based position in Cleveland, Ohio, primarily focuses on enhancing the company's North American business, with some involvement in international activities. The Specialist will collaborate on developing marketing tools, managing project lists, ensuring product compliance, and executing engineering calculations. This role also includes field support and representation at national tradeshows and conferences, involving occasional travel.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain marketing initiatives for concrete fiber products in coordination with the Marketing and Communications Group. Provide technical and engineering support for the Sales and New Business Development (NBD) teams. Assist the Engineering Manager in market development, product compliance, and sales training initiatives. Create and manage project lists and profiles for publication in trade publications, the company website, and other platforms. Identify and develop opportunities for new applications of Euclid fiber products, such as DOT applications, shotcrete, and wall systems. Prepare certifications and literature to ensure project compliance. Review technical documents, literature, and packaging for accuracy. Coordinate product testing programs in collaboration with internal and external laboratories. Assist in developing training programs for customers, internal teams, and trade organizations. Author technical publications and articles relevant to the field. Participate in planning and executing national and regional sales meetings. Monitor industry statistics and trends to inform strategic decisions. Provide monthly updates and actively participate in strategic and business-related meetings.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred (or actively pursuing). A minimum of 2 years of experience in the cement and concrete field is preferred.
Skills and Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Proficient in responding to inquiries from customers and regulatory agencies. Skilled in writing articles, speeches, and other publications that adhere to prescribed formats. Position Summary
The Temporary Operator can work in our Felt Department or in our Roofing Department AT OUR Cleveland Plant. They start-up, troubleshoot, and operate manufacturing and production equipment safely and routinely while achieving or exceeding standard levels of production, according to specifications. This position can turn into a regular union position if the employee completes the probationary period, successfully. During the probationary period, this position will be on 1st Shift. GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Filler/Packager is responsible to fill product using at least one of the different types of packaging machines. The operator will organize the area, collect materials such as pails, cans, cartridges or films, and set up the filling and packaging equipment. Responsibilities include gathering required labels and casing materials. Production Order card must be read and followed exactly as to correct packaging including labeling of cans and cases, etc. Operator is responsible to report correct counts of production for the shift and report downtime information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Neatly assemble and place all required materials from the fill card to be used in their appropriate location throughout the shift. Read and follow filling procedures to package material into cartridges, chubs, or one, two and five-gallon units. Follow and meet the established production schedules. Properly use the filling equipment and maintain cleanliness of the work area following written standard operating procedures. Assist in the waste segregation and recycling program. Communicate written and verbal information between the Foreman and Production Manager. Use appropriate safety equipment and follow established safety regulations. Track progress throughout assigned shift by completing overall equipment effectiveness documents.
EDUCATION:
No high school diploma required.
EXPERIENCE:
No prior experience or training.

Proven ability to engage with diverse teams, including upper management, mid-level professionals, and the hourly workforce. Chemically-savvy with relevant industry experience, including knowledge of chemical reactions. A self-motivated problem solver who thrives in collaborative teams.
