This Maintenance Technician position is with a multi-billion-pound chemical company with multiple sites in the UK and throughout Europe. The company is investing into their existing plant, driving innovation in order to maintain their status as a market leader.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician;
Providing engineering support to across manufacturing and process equipment.
Support on planned and unplanned engineering support, involving carrying out in-process adjustments.
Repairing plant infrastructure including mechanical equipment and pneumatics.
Execution of projects from design through to commissioning.
I am interested in speaking to candidates with experience working on related manufacturing sites including Engineer’s, Craftspeople, Skilled Operator’s and Technical Operator’s. The successful Maintenance Technician will ideally hold an Electrical qualification and ideally be apprentice trained.
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Technician role will be happy with a working approach that allows candidates to be flexible. Aside from the main technical tasks, these individuals get the opportunity to work and learn other areas of the manufacturing site that otherwise they may not get the opportunity to do so.
