Plater Welders are required to join a nationally renowned steelwork provider on a permanent basis. Guaranteed overtime paid at time and half. Due to a growing order book that already stretches well into 2025. We are looking to speak to skilled Plater welders, preferably people who have worked with structural steel. Both night shift and day shift work is available.
Plater Welder Benefits:

Plater Welder Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Able to read detailed fabrication drawings
Setting out of complex fabrications using the appropriate equipment
Tack welding components into position in order to follow the welding procedure
Lifting, turning, manipulating and moving heavy loads with cranes.
Plater Welder Skills & Key Competencies:
Previous MIG, MAG, plater Welding experience
Ideally, the right candidate will come from a structural welding background
Be highly motivated with good communication skills

The TIG Welder will be able to choose between the following shifts:
Days: Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 15:30 / Friday – 07:00 to 12:30
Nights: Monday to Thursday – 21:15 to 07:15
In return, the TIG Welder will receive:
Pay Rates: PAYE: DAYS: £20.00 or UMBRELLA PAYE: £26.46 / NIGHTS: PAYE: £25.79 / UMBRELLA PAYE: £34.12
Incentive Payment: £1,000.00 for every successful 3 month period worked
Overtime: Frequently available paid at time & a half and double time (Sundays only)
